Filling a block level element with an anchor

Published in CSS on Friday, March 5th, 2004

A few people that I work with have asked me about this little trick, so I thought I'd write something up here to explain it. A little article entitled "Filling a block level element with an anchor I", it explains just that: how to fill a block level element with a hyperlink.

This first pass is a fairly simple example, which I will expand on after the weekend. Have a look!

A simple thanks for the example. I searched high and low and could only find examples for image maps...which is not what I needed to do. Your example was exactly what I needed to do!

Glad it helped Terry! I should have a second part up sometime after this weekend...
